If the electrode pressure is too high, the indentation will be too deep and the deformation and loss of the welding wheel will be accelerated. If the pressure is insufficient, the shrinkage hole will be generated, and the contact resistance will be too large, which will easily cause the welding wheel to burn and shorten its service life.

Therefore, it is necessary to control the size of the nugget industry by welding time, and control the overlap by the cooling time. At a lower welding speed, the ratio of welding to rest time is 1.25:1-2:1, and satisfactory results can be obtained. As the welding speed increases, the solder joint pitch increases, and at this time, to obtain a weld having the same amount of overlap, it is necessary to increase the ratio.

Secondly, the welding speed determines the contact area between the welding wheel and the steel plate, and the contact time between the welding wheel and the heating portion, thus affecting the heating and heat dissipation of the weld. When the welding speed is increased, in order to obtain sufficient heat, the welding current must be increased.

If the can production line is galvanized steel, care should be taken to prevent cracking during seam welding. The key is to correctly select the process parameters. Practice has shown that the smaller the penetration rate, the less crack defects. When the seam welding speed is high, the heat dissipation conditions are poor, the surface is overheated, and the penetration depth is large, and cracks are likely to occur.

At present, there are roughly two kinds of processing methods for the flanging process of the domestic canning industry production line, one is rolling and flanging; the other is mold flanging. Although the two methods of flanging are different, the results are basically the same. From the perspective of actual production, the edge cracking is related to the angle of the flanging, the arc degree, and the flanging speed.

According to the different production lines of the cans, the angle of the cuffs is required to be different. In comparison, the larger the cuff angle, the smaller the diameter of the cuffs, the smaller the relative deformation, and the easier it is when flanging. rupture. In addition, the time of the flanging process is also one of the factors affecting the flanging crack.

If the flanging equipment in the can production line is slower, the force transmission is softer, so the possibility of cracking is much smaller, and the problem of flanging quality is reduced.
